N.E.C. Horizontal II/III EXAMINATIONS

EXTERNAL AND secret CANDIDATES

JUNE/JULY 2025

The National Examinations Council is inviting applications for its June/July 2025 Horizontal II and Horizontal III examinations in the After areas:

Eligibility

1. colorable Candidate is one who:

attended an NEC affiliated training centre and sat final exams in a Fastidious Plain (no earlier than 2020);

– was unsuccessful in one or more subjects in said Plain and

– is reflective of repeating those subjects failed.

2. Private Candidate is one who: has never been well-judged at the Craft Horizontal and above.

Applicant must be:

– at least 25 years old and possess a minimum 5 years work experience in the field.

OR

– at least 18 years old and possess a Horizontal I certification or same with a minimum of two (2) years’ work experience in the field.

All applicants must deliver documentary proof of work experience and may be required to attend an interview at the NEC office, Ministry of Education Tower A Horizontal 11.

• Point Fortin Government Vocational Centre, Mahaica, Point Fortin.

• MIC Tobago Technology Centre, Milford Road, Canaan, Tobago.

• Servol Advanced Skills Training Centre, #2 Canaan Road, Bamboo Village, La Romaine

• Ministry of Education, Ground Floor, Receptionist’s Desk, Tower A, Education Towers, St. Vincent Street, Port of Spain.

Completed application forms must be submitted to any of the Principals of the Institutions listed above, on or expeditiously Friday 28th March 2025.
